Chip Leiter,you are right.I should just return to Australa but I want to do something about the situation here.
I have introduced several rules which make it a little harder for the teams.

One of the main rules is that on the river,unless there is a bet and nobody calls,all players must show their cards.No matter if they won or lost.

Once I explained the reason for this,a big majority of the players agreed with me.They too want the games to be honest.Only a couple of players whom I suspect of cheating protested that they don't want to bluff and show their cards.
This is crap and any good player should be able to adapt to the rule.

I also change cards randomly.One possible cheat hit the roof.He reckoned that cards should only be changed when a dealer changes.
Once again -crap.

I regularly have a look at the tapes of the games.Caught one guy palming an extra card.Actually,the surveilence guy caught him.

I watch for players who soft play and who bet and raise until two players are left and than just check the hand out.

I sometimes get visits from suspected deam players but I ask them to play cash only and on different tables.

I am determined but there are so many people out there who are just as determined to find a way to get an edge over other players.

Ну он пишет, что придумал опупенное правило против тимплея - если на ривере есть шоудаун то карты показывают обе стороны. То есть если ты заколил ставку на ривере(или чек-чек) и проиграл сравнение то свои карты один хрен покажешь, чтобы все убедились что это не чипдампинг..

в принципе по моему полное гэ.. хотя уже много где практикуется. Встречал в питере в "Аристократе" в "покер хаусе" в москве и вот в "короне"

Ну закладок Джон накидал достаточно, чтобы вычислить кого он считает командой. Он конечно слегка параноик, но я согласен, что то что в России норма, на Западе по другому вопринимается.

изначально речь шла о другой команде

The group leader of this team is Gypsy and he blatantly admits proudly that he sponsors the team.In Australia this year he sponsored 18 players.
At the World Series he sponsored 22 players.

This team is one of the two main team operators. The other team is the one I was talking about and which is led by a very prominent player.
This team is just playing at the local tournaments.God help us when they are unleashed onto the World scene.

Да нет, про джипси там мимоходом сказано (про его команду говорили на 2+2)

я про это:
One more to the "team".
Yesterday was an invitation only (25 best Russian players)$1000 entry Texas tournament.Guess who won.No names but yes you are right,one of the team.
Of course,the same tournament director.

And another interesting observation.Today was the Russian Poker Presentation.
Right in the middle of the room was the "team "table.All six of them with their partners.Laughing,clinging their glasses,congratulating each other on their
great team effort.
No shame.Blatant arrogance,like who cares that we are a team?And so what.

To add insult to the injury,the team scooped the prizes.The only award the team did not manage to win was "The best casino outside of Moscow".
This was won by a Federation sponsored casino somewhere in Siberia.Ofcourse the Federation president is one of the team.

The team frequents the Shangree La casino and run the high stakes game.
The team is sponsored by Poker Stars and Poker Stars places a lot of adds in the "Poker"magazine which initiated the awards.

So here we go with the list of the awards.

Best poker room in Russia -Shangree La
Best poker room manager -Shangree La
Best poker pit boss -wife of the above tournament director
Best dressed poker player -a bloke from Shangree la
Best gentlemen of poker -another bloke from Shangree La
Best ranked player One of the team
Winner of the $1000 tourn. One of the team
Best tournament player in
Russia One of the team

The only legit prize was the one Ivan Davidov got for his great effort at the World Series.No he is not one of the team.
Best Online site - Poker Stars,they had to be .They spend a fortune on the team.

Best Poker magazine in Russia -Nothing like self congratulation.Ofcourse the "Poker" magazine which receives huge money from Poker Stars to promote the team and their achievements.

So the big winners on the night were
The Team.
Shangree La casino.
Poker Stars.
And last but not least the magazine which sponsored the event and lives of the money Poker Stars throws at them.

I guess this is business and I am a little naive on how business really works.
But I don't have to like it.

I had a few vodkas too many and went over to the "team "table.
I congratulated them on their wins in the last few months and in their scooping the prize pool on the night.
I also, with the tongue in cheek,asked them to let someone else win something next year.
We all laughed but they a little louder than me.

По-моему, паранойя в такой работе - это отлично. Понятно, что на 99% он будет выдавать довольно бредовые рассуждения, типа этих, а потом может действительно кого-то поймает. Должен же кто-то читить действительно в каких-то местах ) А так - все знают, что всегда под прицелом совершенно помешанного человека, может это кого-то остановит, что в результате - хорошо для игры )

Полная галиматья.

Турнир, о котором говорит бедный Джон, выиграл Андрей Митропольский. Он никакого отношения не имеет к PokerStars да и ни в какую команду не входит. Журнал "Покер" тоже ничего общего с PS не имеет - его Саша Лукьянов издаёт. PS там рекламу даёт, как и ещё в 100 изданий.

В общем, Джона стоит воспринимать как клоуна, не более того.

Про "болезнь" это точно :?

Кстати, как-то играл там 50+50(1RA), играло человек 35 а в призовом фонде в итоге оказалось не больше 2000, причем когда я за финстолом спросил "хде деньги" началось такое шоу одного актера, что даже как-то неловко стало..

Он реально становится все менее адекватным. А тут еще навалилось ограбление квартиры, увольнение Давида и длинный список игроков-должников (причем этим он лишь убивает игру, тк многие из тех, кто ему должен, вновь не приходят).

Ну а то что там беспредел с призовым фондом на ребайниках - это отдельный разговор.
